Answering a question about four other candidates wanting to contesting him, Ragga claimed that “The NDC is a democratic party and regardless of the number of people who are contesting, it’s just good we need to showcase that democracy”, the Cape Coast North MP shared.
According to him, he has started the journey and he is pulling people along. “As a leader you can’t get everyone following you across board. But, eventually as they get to buy into your deeds and vision, they will all follow up and everything would fall into place”, he added.
The Cape Coast North MP however underscored the fact that, he has done only two years in office and has two more years to end his term in office. “Within that time I’m sure we would be able to pull everyone along, unity would come in, we would stabilize the party and as always development would follow”, Kwamena Nyarku averred.
Ragga disclosed that in politics there are personal interest and party interest. “Some steps I might have taken may not favour personal interest or may not favour community development. Regardless, it’s a decision a leader must take and once a leader takes those decisions he also appreciates that the consequence there off would be fruitful for everyone to benefit”, he ended.
