Just when most people are pointing hands at the Assin Central MP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for allegedly killing investigate journalist Ahmed Suale, the MP has revealed that he was rather the one paying his University fees.Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s documentary on Ahmed Suale shown on live TV is said to be one of the things that contributed to his death. However, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong claims it was after showing the video that one of his workers told him Ahmed Suale was even on his scholarship scheme but the truth is he has been paying fees for thousands of people and had no idea Ahmed Suale is also one.
“When I showed the video on Net2, my workers came to me and told me, Hon don’t you know this guy? And I said no. And they were like but he was one of the guys you paid his school fees. I said I don’t remember because I always pay people’s school fees”. Hon. Kennedy Agyapong narrated.
According to the NPP MP, Ahmed Suale came to him when he got admission to the University. At that time, it was him who sponsored and paid $1500 of the fees.” He came here, he said he was going to the University and you gave him GH¢1,500. One of his staff reminded me but I insisted.
