The 2023 Awake Experience with Diana Hamilton kicked off in Accra, on Sunday, February 19, for a night of worship and praise. The auditorium was packed to capacity as fans and patrons were treated with outstanding ministrations by other anointed gospel artistes, including Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, Perez Musik, Celestine Donkor, Bernice Panford and Christiana Attafuah at the Perez Dome in Dzorwulu, Accra.
Wearing an elegant pink gown with a mock neck and draped cape sleeve, the iconic gospel artiste started her ministration with her rendition of Robin Mark’s song ‘Days of Elijah’. Fans and patrons expressed their excitement in a loud voice and cheered her on as Diana Hamilton ministered together with her band and BVs.
The ‘My Meditations’ singer continued to prove herself as a talented vocalist when she ministered an impressive rendition of some of her old tunes, which included ‘Nyame Aye Bi’, ‘I Believe’, ‘Osoro Be Kasa’, ‘Lord of Hosts’, Eye Wo Ah’, among her other hit songs.
In the last part of her ministration, Diana introduced her younger sister, Adelaide, whose story influenced the writing of her hit song ‘Adom’. Her sister hit the stage for a collab as they beautifully sang ‘Adom’ together, which was one of the memorable highlights of the event.
As the theme suggests, Diana Hamilton gave her audience an experience with excellent ministration. It was an impactful and successful night and will be a memorable experience for fans and patrons.
