Bice Osei Kofour, also known as Obour, the managing director of the Ghana Post Company Limited, has expressed confidence in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to win the 2024 elections.
He claimed that the NPP’s participation in the 2024 elections will be a formality given how well the Akufo-Addo administration handled COVID-19 and the economy.
During an appearance on The Hard Truth show, Obour boasted that the NPP had already won the elections and that voting on December 7, 2024, would only be a formality.
The eight has already been broken by NPP. We must consider how you handle difficulties if we are to make an accurate judgment of a situation. The COVID-19 was a huge bomb that exploded all over the planet. It was difficult for the US, UK, and Italy as well. We did a fantastic job of it here in Ghana.
“A problem will arise, but see how people are able to solve it on their own. Everyday issues arise, but depending on the current administration, how did we resolve them? Do we not address the problems? We are currently experiencing a challenging period, and this issue is not unique to Ghana, he stated.
He thinks that the ability of a government to rescue its people from catastrophe will be the decisive factor in the 2024 elections, and in his opinion, the NPP government has done a commendable job of rescuing Ghanaians from the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Several people have already declared their intention to run for office, including Dr. Owusu Akoto Afriyie, the former minister of trades and industry Alan Kyerematen, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, Kwabena Agyapong, and Joe Ghartey.
