Kennedy Agyapong, a candidate for the presidential nomination of the NPP, has promised to jail any contractor who violates the terms of his contract.
If elected president of Ghana, he says he will not tolerate any crime committed in the name of a relationship with the people.

Kennedy Agyapong, Kwabena Agyapong, Joe Ghartey, Dr. Afriyie Akoto, and Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, among others, have all declared their interest in running as the NPP’s nominee.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, who has not yet made an official announcement of his candidacy, is thought to be the front-runner in the contest.
On the NDC front, it is widely accepted that the party’s pick for the flagbearership is former President Mahama, who ran as the party’s nominee in the most recent presidential election.
However, certain party leaders, including as Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and Kojo Bonsu, a former finance minister and mayor of Kumasi, have stated their candidacies for the position of flagbearer.
